Restaurant Paris: Wood texture concrete panels

Wood Texture Concrete

About the Restaurant Paris: Wood texture concrete panels Project

Cool and contemporary concrete internal cladding project for a flagship London store.

The project included cladding for the desk surface as well as the walls to create the urban look.

Goal of the project

Our task was to create a deep grain wood effect in the concrete cladding for columns and counters in different colour tones for the upmarket restaurant.

Techniques used in construction

Glass-reinforced concrete (GRC) was used at a 15-panel thickness, these were installed to the building’s structure using a specially selected adhesive

Challenges faced

To achieve the natural look of the wood-concrete effect, we used many concrete moulds to make sure there is no repetition in the pattern, giving it an organic look.

Highlight of the project

We were thrilled with the fantastic final results, in addition to it being very practical due to the very hard-wearing surfaces for this busy restaurant

Type of cladding used

GRC 15mm concrete panels, with specially designed wood effect molds for the wood grain effect.
