About the Restaurant Paris: Wood texture concrete panels Project
Goal of the project
Our task was to create a deep grain wood effect in the concrete cladding for columns and counters in different colour tones for the upmarket restaurant.
Techniques used in construction
Glass-reinforced concrete (GRC) was used at a 15-panel thickness, these were installed to the building’s structure using a specially selected adhesive
Challenges faced
To achieve the natural look of the wood-concrete effect, we used many concrete moulds to make sure there is no repetition in the pattern, giving it an organic look.
Highlight of the project
We were thrilled with the fantastic final results, in addition to it being very practical due to the very hard-wearing surfaces for this busy restaurant
