About the Swimming Pool London: 3D Concrete Cladding Project
Goal of the project
The aim was to create a science-fiction look and feel for the walls around the swimming pool.
Techniques used in construction
3D GRC concrete – 1200mm x 600mm in 20-55mm panel thickness to achieve the amazing 3D concrete wall.
Challenges faced
It was difficult to get access for installation of the tiles. We used mechanical and adhesive fixings with special grouts to fill all the gaps between the panels for extra security and safety.
Highlight of the project
The highlight was the end result of futuristic and modern-looking concrete cladding with the light and water reflecting of the tiles at different angles.
Type of cladding used
3D concrete panels were used, along with GRC 20-55 mm concrete panels.
