About the London terrace concrete patio Project
Goal of the project
We were asked to create a cool and contemporary concrete patio grilling area, for a flagship London store.
The project included cladding for the BBQ countertop as well as the walls and concrete patio slabs to create an urban look.
Techniques used in construction
To create this stunning open area, we used 30mm smooth light grey concrete floor slabs which were installed on pedestals and then a large 60mm concrete BBQ worktop.
Challenges faced
Due to the location it was hard to get the materials to the roof. We managed to get everything up on the roof by using a crane.
Highlight of the project
We loved the clean flat surface made by the use of the concrete patio slabs, it really opened up the whole area.
Type of cladding used
30mm concrete smooth slabs were used for the patio and a 60mm concrete block for the BBQ top.
