The modern office space wanted to continue the clean style that was started with the glass and wooden staircase. They found that the best way to compliments the elegant design of this corridor was with large concrete wall claddings, which made the area look much larger and more open that is origiinally was.

About the Barnes Project: Concrete Panel Walls Project
Goal of the project
To achieve a natural light grey concrete cladding hallway.
Techniques used in construction
GRC – 18mm panel thickness where installed.
Challenges faced
With very uneven surfaces prior to the installation, our installers needed to spend a lot of time setting all the panels, to make sure that all were lined up with the stairs and the gap between stairs and the wall, exactly as per architect’s request.
Highlight of the project
We loved the natural look of the concrete surrounded by this warm wooden floor and stairs.

GRC 18mm standard size 1200×600 concrete panels.
